TNNPI recently completed the delivery of 8 dual-high-voltage oil-immersed transformers for a power distribution project in Burundi, including 1000kVA and 2000kVA units with a 30/10-0.4kV dual high-voltage configuration.
Designed for distribution systems requiring flexible connection to different medium-voltage networks, these transformers provide two selectable high-voltage levels while maintaining a stable 0.4kV low-voltage output. This configuration helps project operators adapt the transformer to different grid conditions and distribution requirements.
For the Burundi project, New Electric Power coordinated the design, manufacturing, routine testing and delivery of all 8 units according to the customer's technical requirements. The oil-immersed structure provides reliable heat dissipation and is suitable for long-term operation in outdoor and utility distribution applications.
