Basic structure and working principle of transformer oil level gauge
Basic structure of oil level gauge: The oil level gauge is composed of a float, connecting rod, magnetic steel, gauge base, dial, pointer, glass cover, pressure ring, etc. (as shown in the attached diagram of oil level gauge structure).
Working principle: When the oil level in the conservator (oil conservator) increases or decreases due to environmental temperature, load size, and other factors, the float of the oil level gauge synchronously increases or decreases with the oil level, thereby driving the pointer to deflect and indicating the corresponding oil level. The deflection direction of the float is consistent with the deflection direction of the dial pointer.
Due to the complete isolation of the float and pointer from the base of the oil level gauge, the reliability of the sealing of the oil level gauge is ensured. Meanwhile, due to the installation of the oil level gauge, it avoids direct sunlight on the transformer oil, effectively preventing its aging and reducing oil maintenance.
The oil level gauge uses the oil level at 25 ℃ as a horizontal reference, and during installation, the correct height of the oil level can be recursively calculated based on the measured oil temperature.
