Silica gel is often used as an adsorbent, in which a portion of the discolored silica gel is often placed. When the discolored silica gel changes from blue to light red, it indicates that the adsorbent has become damp and must be replaced or dried. Once the transformer comes into direct contact with the atmosphere, it absorbs impurities and moisture in the air, and the transformer oil of the entire compiler deteriorates. Especially for transformers above 100KVA, their volume is relatively large, their contact surfaces are also wide, and the transformer oil is susceptible to moisture.
