TNNPI has recently completed a customized medium-voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU) solution for an industrial park power distribution project in Malaysia.
The project includes 2 sets of 13.8kV RMU, each configured with a load switch cabinet, fuse-switch combination cabinet and cable feeder cabinet. Designed for 50Hz systems and IEC 62271 standards, the solution provides reliable ring main power distribution for industrial loads.
Considering Malaysia's tropical and humid climate, New Electric Power integrated an anti-condensation heating and dehumidification system to reduce moisture-related insulation risks and improve long-term equipment reliability.
The RMU adopts an SF6-free insulation solution, supporting the growing demand for environmentally friendly medium-voltage switchgear. Meanwhile, reserved SCADA and motorized operation interfaces allow the system to be upgraded for remote monitoring and automation in the future.
This project demonstrates New Electric Power's capability to provide customized, climate-adapted and automation-ready medium-voltage distribution solutions for overseas industrial projects.
