The single-phase column mounted distribution transformers produced by New Electric Power Company are divided into two types: ordinary type and fully self-protection type, with two types of iron cores: silicon steel sheet and amorphous alloy. Ordinary type: the transformer oil tank is of cylindrical sealed structure. All transformers have grounding devices and hooks, American standard installation hooks, and pressure relief valves. One (or two) high-voltage bushing is led out from the box cover, and the low-voltage bushing is led out from the box wall, both equipped with hole bolt type wiring terminals. The adjustment of the high-voltage Tap Changer should be carried out with the power cut off and linked according to the adjustment position indicated on the nameplate. Fully self-protection type: The transformer is a fully self-protection type that can provide self-protection against lightning, short circuits, and overloads. The self-protection system can also protect the transmission and distribution lines from power outages caused by transformer faults. Its structural features are similar to ordinary types, such as cylindrical oil tanks with hooks outside, installation of tripping devices, grounding devices, nameplates, primary iron cores, winding structures, and the following features and equipment: One (or two) high-voltage bushing, led out from the box cover, with a current limiting fuse inside the bushing. One (or two) lightning arrester, installed on the box wall, with the end close to the outlet of the high-voltage bushing and connected with copper tape. A secondary circuit breaker, installed inside the box, with an external operating handle, overload reset, and signal light on the box wall. The low-voltage casing is led out from the box wall, and X2 is equipped with a grounding device. One end of the high-voltage winding of the single casing is led out through the high-voltage casing, and the other end is grounded.
