Disadvantages: Low power supply reliability; Without electric mechanism, it is impossible to add power distribution automation devices; No capacitor device, unfavorable for reducing line loss; The noise is higher than Type III and V stations because Type III and V stations place transformers indoors to provide sound insulation; In addition, the concentrated magnetic radiation of Type III and Type V stations is decomposed into multipoint radiation; Due to the different civil engineering foundations of box transformers with different capacities, it is inconvenient to increase the capacity of box transformers; When the box transformer is overloaded or users increase capacity, the civil engineering needs to be rebuilt, which will have a long power outage time, increasing the difficulty of the project.
