Ring network cabinet

Ring network cabinet is a set of high-voltage switchgear installed in a steel plate metal cabinet or made into a segmented ring network power supply unit. The indoor ring network is generally used for high-voltage side distribution, consisting of an incoming cabinet, a metering cabinet, a PT cabinet, and a transformer outgoing cabinet. For users with high electrical requirements, the incoming line must use a dual power switch cabinet. The statement on the seventh floor that "some people also call the high-voltage switchgear cabinet that combines load switches and fuses a ring network cabinet, mainly because it is easy to distinguish it from the switchgear that uses circuit breakers" is not accurate. Outdoor ring network is generally used for urban power grids, using a common box type SF6 ring network cabinet. The biggest feature of this cabinet type is its high protection level, which can achieve IP67, suitable for outdoor use, and can be submerged in water for a short time. The scheme of ring network power supply generally adopts one loop in, one loop out, and two to three loops as outgoing circuits, forming a hand in hand ring network power supply mode.

To ensure the reliability and continuity of power supply, two incoming lines are used for power supply, which forms a loop. SF6 load switch is used, with 3 positions (closing, opening, grounding), line separation, and transformer.
